Josh's Frogs Pac-Man BioBedding Bioactive Substrate

Josh's Frogs Pac-Man BioBedding is the perfect substrate for your bioactive Pac-Man frog enclosure. Pac-Man BioBedding is a unique blend of organic and inorganic ingredients, trace elements, and beneficial fungi that serves to jump start the bioactive environment. Pac-Man BioBedding helps maintain humidity while providing a substrate your pets can dig and lay eggs in, all while helping to maintain healthy populations of microfauna.

Clean-Up Crew

You will receive an 4 oz. container with 25+ Dwarf Tropical White Isopods and an 8 oz. container containing temperate springtails. We've found that these two species are the best for most bioactive enclosures. When you add springtails and isopods to your tanks they will reproduce.

Dwarf Tropical White Isopods (Trichorhina tomentosa) are the most popular species of isopods for poison dart frog vivaria and other bioactive setups. They reproduce quickly, and are a great isopod to seed your vivarium with.

Springtails (Folsomia candida) are tiny arthropods (1-4 mm) and are used as "Tank Janitors" in a terrarium, eating mold and waste. This culture can be added directly to your vivarium!

Pac-Man Frog Plant Kit

Our animal and plant experts have selected a handful of plants for this kit that are considered basic, easy-to-care-for plants that have been potted in net pots with a special blend of plant and Pac-man friendly substrate. This will protect your plants should your frog dig them up, and help them thrive in your Pac-Man frog vivarium. 

You will receive three plants of our choice sized for a 18x18 footprint tank.

Water Dish

Water dishes are constructed from a high-density resin, that replicates rock and facilitates easy cleaning. The dish should be cleaned every day by scrubbing it under hot water. Fresh water should be provided for your animals every day. Make sure to use dechlorinator if you are using tap water.

Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer

This is the ideal digital sensor for accurate temperature and humidity indication.

Feeding Tongs

Feeding Tongs allow you to easily feed your Pac-Man, without having loose feeder insects running around the enclosure. Using Feeding Tongs greatly reduces the chances of your pet Pac-Man frog accidently ingesting substrate while eating, virtually eliminating the risk of impaction.

Josh’s Frogs Dechlorinator (4 oz.)

Use with water to pull out harmful chlorine. This will help provide the best water for your pet.
