The plants are still alive and it doesn't seem to bother the frogs! I've had it a short time but I'll update with how long the bulb lasts

intense lights. low heat output. My trailing African violets are blooming in my leucamelas tank. My black velvet aloscia is doing well. I have 2 in one tank and will put 2 in another.

Do NOT waste your time with other lights. This is the last light you will ever need. This light is the brightest ever. It's is extremely solid and made really well. You will save so much money with this bulb. Don't let the sticker shock get you.

My plants grow like crazy with these bulbs but they are only lasting about a year. I thought LEDs were supposed to last a lot longer. So, 5 stars for growth and 1 star for reliability. I gave four stars because reliability isn't as important as growth. I'm still ordering another today.

I liked the first one so much I ordered another, for the other side fixture, of my exo terra compact top. Produces very bright lighting and I’ve already noticed my plants perking up after only a couple of weeks! Also pivots so you can have the LEDS facing in any direction you want, depending on your plants lighting needs.
