DISCLAIMER: Our dubia may come with Buffalo beetles (Alphitobius diaperinus), also known as lesser mealworms. Buffalo beetles will not harm dubia, and will in fact eat decaying organic matter such as old food and dead roaches to help keep your dubia colony clean and healthy.
Adult dubia roaches are a great large feeder for adult bearded dragons or similarly sized insectivore. Easy to care for, nutritious, and easy to breed, dubia roaches are a convenient way to provide your pet reptiles and amphibians with a delicious bug meal.
If you're looking to purchase adult dubia roaches for feeding, purchase males. They're less expensive and make a great meal. For breeding, purchase males and females in a 1:3 ratio (e.g. 5 males and 15 females). The roaches will produce offspring in a few months. Many females we ship are already full of babies!

Josh's Frogs has the proper USDA permits in place to legally ship dubia roaches across most state lines. As long as you do not live in one of those states, you can legally order and receive dubia roaches from Josh's Frogs. A copy of the relevant permits is available via email upon ordering. We partnered with the USDA to create a handout informing any insect/animal/plant purchasers to not release organisms into the wild, and how to dispose of them properly. This informative flier is included free of charge with every dubia roach purchase.
