Josh's Frogs ½" Banded Crickets are young banded crickets (Gryllodes sigillatus), which we've found ship much better than other species of cricket, allowing us to safely ship you healthy crickets! Perfect for your pets that require medium sized feeders, these are true ½" Banded Crickets - many pet stores sell these as "medium crickets". Best of all, we guarantee live arrival and provide a generous overcount. Josh's Frogs offers ½" Banded Crickets in 250 count, 500 count and 1,000 count quantities.

This product is covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee. If your insect/animal does not arrive in good health, we'll make it right, provided the following criteria are met:
- If shipped Next Day, the temperature experienced during shipping must remain between -40 and 120 °F.
- If shipped Ground, the temperature experienced during shipping must remain between 10 and 100 °F.
- If shipped Two Day, the temperature experienced during shipping must remain between -20 and 120 °F.

Shipping and handling was quick. My 500 crickets arrived about 1/3 of them dead. This was my 1st order. I will leave a review on my 2nd order. Hopefully it is better

Amazing Cricket Quality
I have tried a few different cites and gone to several places that sell my the thousand, but Josh's Frogs is by far the best. The crickets come lively, on time, and with food. I have had cricket shipments come from Fluker's that are completely dead. Even though they have a live guarantee, if does not account the crickets I have to go out and purchase in the meantime until the shipment comes in. I have not had a single issue come from buying crickets here and it is amazing!

We have ordered crickets from Josh’s Frogs for years & will continue to do so for years to come! The crickets are the healthiest around. Even if order gets delayed due to weather or delivery mishaps, the crickets arrive in excellent condition!
