Common Name(s): Satin Pothos, Silver Pothos, Silk Pothos, or Silver Vine

Defining Characteristics:

• Leaves are distinctly marked with splashes, spots, or bands of silvery-gray, giving the leaves a reflective, metallic or "painted" appearance
• Scindapsus leaves have a unique, soft, almost suede-like or velvety texture
• Grows as a trailing vine or a climber. When given a moss pole or trellis to climb, the plant will produce larger leaves that shingle against the surface.

Care Notes: Scindapsus pictus is toxic to both humans and pets as all parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate crystals. Since it can be sometimes sensitive to soggy soil, it is imperative to have good drainage in your vivarium to ensure the long-term health of this plant.
