Defining Characteristics:

• The leaves are heart-shaped, pinnately lobed, and heavily fenestrated
• This plant is a climber, and in the wild it uses aerial roots to grow up trees. When grown as a house plant it can easily grow up walls, or moss poles
• Despite their resemblance to Monstera deliciosa, the leaves are much smaller, rarely growing larger than 12 inches long
